Thank you for your honesty. Prayers for your missing friend, and for your health. When I said goodbye to my female parts I felt better than I had for years. Grace and hope to you my friend.❤️
I pray your friend will be found, your body to find its new (spunky!) groove post surgery, and for this break (however long it is) gives you time to grieve, heal, and find a measure of peace.
I'm glad you're taking care of yourself. You're modeling what you're preaching. ❤️
Dear friend, I'm praying for Leah and all those who love her right now.
And you are so wise to listen to your body and take a break. You'll know when it's time to come back. We'll all be around here somewhere. There's no rush.
Sending love your way and believing Him for healthier days ahead.
Praying for Leah to be found safely and helped. Praying God provides all that you need in this time of surgery and recovery. Praying peace for you, Mel. I will miss your words for a season, but I believe God will bring healing and restoration to your body and your spirit, more than you can even hope or imagine.
You are dealing with too much right now. May the Lord's peace be upon you and your friend's family. He knows where she is, and He is with her, regardless of her circumstances. She has never been alone. ❤️
Praying for you and Leah. I'm in counseling again because I realized that my usual approaches to my chronic depression weren't cutting it. Keep doing what you need to do to get stronger.
Mel. You are brave to share your vulnerabilities. I appreciate that so much. Your name has been in my prayer book for a couple months. As you navigate these waters, my prayers will reflect what you have written here. There will be relief after surgery, but there may still be emotional pain that remains. It’s the nature of women’s forever changing bodies. But in each, as we navigate, there are times and people that God will bring to help to carry you through. May you find rest in this difficult season and be refreshed in his grace
I have had the same surgery but for endometriosis. Taking that one significant challenge out of your life will be a welcomed gift, I’m pretty sure. It’s a strange thing to face but it did mostly resolve so many difficult day to day things like chronic pain, anemia, exhaustion, etc etc.
I did write my old girl a letter before the surgery. Both thanking her and voicing the frustration and how she had also not done what I needed. It helped me process the loss of it all. Enjoy the rest and pause.❤️
It’s hard to let go of something you love and that feels significant. I totally get that. But I’m proud of you for recognizing that you need to take care of yourself. When something that started as fun becomes a stressful chore, it’s time to let it go for a bit. We will be waiting for you when you return! And I’ll be praying for you in the meantime.

This gives me hope.
The love the vulnerability here. Thank you for this raw, beautiful piece.
Thank you 🧡
Praying for Leah-praying for you, your surgery and for you to be refreshed and renewed by the Lord in mind, body, soul and spirit.
Thank you Debi 🧡

I’ve been on a hiatus as well, but it has been good for me. Prayers for your friend and your upcoming procedure.
I’ve been wondering where you were🧡. I’m glad it’s been good for you. Thank you for your prayers.

Yes, I truly believe this. We have been discussing this all weekend. God is with her.
I’m praying for you through this hard time.
I had a hysterectomy at age 37. I had postponed it too long. I actually felt better while still in the hospital after surgery.
The past few weeks have been rough for me. Sleep is something some people take for granted. I rejoice when I sleep through the night.
Me too. I pray y you get some good rest night.

It’s so difficult sometimes isn’t it? Thank you for sharing and I pray for your healing too. And good choice.
Praying for restoration and peace to meet you in this "step away." Hugs, friend.
Thank you. Hugs right back. 🧡
